The situation in Ukraine today, in particular, in matters of establishing peace and the economy, needs to be radically changed, and the Opposition Platform - For Life party has enough mechanisms for this.

The Chairman of Political Council of Opposition Platform - For Life party Viktor Medvedchuk stated this at a meeting with voters and party activists in Luhansk region, as NEWSONE reports.

“I think that our party has enough mechanisms that for this entire period have shown what we can do. We can do this in the matters of peace, we can do this in matters of economy, because we are not simply raising the question of a radical change in the economic course, we propose specific ways of how to fill the budget.”

"Not to do it the way it is happening today, and today, unfortunately, is happening this: 66% of the budget’s revenue is formed by internal and foreign loans. Think about it! The country earns only one third for its existence and support for people and in general for the functioning of state mechanisms, and we must borrow two thirds,” Medvedchuk noted.

According to the opposition political figure, "we can see what this so-called government offers us in the next year".

"I'm the expert in matters of state development and state management. Such ciuntry can not exist with full volume of economic sovereignty. The country that lives in debts by two thirds has no right for existence. The situation must be changed radically. It can''t go on like this. And we saw it this year, and we've been witnessing what this so-called government offers us in the next year. So this is why we're going to carry on with our work here", Medvedchuk concluded.
