Both Ukraine International Airlines and Austrian Airlines are planning to expand air connection between to Tel-Aviv and Vienna respectively. Such information was published in the companies’ timetables, Center for Transport Strategies reports.
Beginning on 2 June, Ukraine International Airlines will operate four flights between Lviv and Tel-Aviv per week on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays (departs at 15:45, arrives at 19:05). Flights from Tel-Aviv back to Lviv will take place on the same days of the week (departs at 11:15, arrives at 14:45).
In addition to this, Austrian Airlines is expanding its presence in the Lviv International Airport. The airline will operate 11 weekly flights to the capital of Austria. Apart from seven daytime flights that the carrier is already operating in summer time, four overnight flights will be available. Flights from Vienna will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (departs at 23:15 local time, arrives at 01:30), whereas those from Lviv will take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays (departs at 05:20, arrives at 05:50 local time).
As reported earlier, Romanian low-cost airline Blue Air will operate flights between Lviv and Czech Republic’s Brno. Yanair is expected to start flights to Georgia’s Batumi. Moreover, Wizz Air is beginning to operate flights to London on 1 May 2018, four months earlier than the date initially planned.
