Norteda, Lithuania-based oil trading company, has registered subsidiary UAB Agrarine Norteda in Ukraine and announced its plans to invest more than $10 million in processing of grain and oilseeds, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
“Today Ukraine is one of the most attractive agricultural countries in Eastern Europe. We are currently considering various investment projects to store and process grain, as well as processing of oilseeds,” Director of UAB Agrarine Norteda Ihor Skliarus said.
He pointed out that Agrarine Norteda is open to cooperation not only with private companies, but also with state-owned agrarian enterprises.
