In October 2020, the level of industrial production in Ukraine decreased by 5.0% (not adjusted to the effect of calendar days) and by 3.9% (adjusted) compared to October 2019. This was reported by the State Statistics Service.
Thus, in October 2020, the overall level of industrial production increased by 5.8% (not adjusted to the effect of calendar days) and decreased by 0.5% (adjusted) compared to September 2020.
In January-October 2020, industrial production decreased by 6.8% compared to the same period last year.
As we reported earlier, Ukraine’s turnover made 82.67 billion dollars during 10 months of 2020,. It is eight billion dollars (9%) less than during the same period of time in 2019.
The sum of the imported goods made $43.03 billion - $6.01 billion (12%) less than during the same period of time in 2019. The sum of the exported goods made $39.64 billion ($2 billion (5%) less).
In its turn, Ukraine exports 38% of its goods to the EU, 12% to the CIS countries, and 50% to other states. Mostly, it exports grain crops (19.25%), ferrous metals (16.16%), fats and oils, edible fats, waxes (11.29%).
