The average salary in Kyiv grew over the first quarter of 2020. The volume of sold industrial production, export and turnover of retail business grew up, too. Press office of Kyiv city state administration reported this on May 28.
In January-March 2020, the average monthly wage in Kyiv grew by 13 percent in comparison with the same period in 2019. Currently, the average salary in the Ukrainian capital makes almost 598 U.S. dollars. The average salary in the entire country amounts to some 409 dollars.
In March 2020, the ratio of consumer prices in Kyiv increased by 2.4 percent compared with December 2019. The most notable difference in prices' growth is observed in clothes and shoes, culture and entertainment services, healthcare, alcohol and tobacco, communication services and education.
The volume of sold industrial production in Q1 2020 increased by 346,000 U.S. dollars in comparison with the same period of 2019. It made approximately two billion U.S. dollars.
