Kyiv Metropoliten has announced a tender for the construction of a section of the Syretsko-Pecherska metro line from Syrets station to Vynogradar. Such announcement was published in the ProZorro system, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

According to the announcedment, a section with an electric depot (from Syrets station to Prospekt Pravdy station with two stations in between – Mostytska and Prospekt Pravdy) is expected to be built in Podilsky district, as well as a section towards Vynogradar station (currently at the third stage of construction).

Those who are willing to participate in the tender are welcome to submit their applications until 19 February 2018, while the auction itself is planned for 13:16 on 7 March.

The tender security, as well as the minimum bid is $1.09 million. The construction is expected to go on for a total period of a year and a half.

Some 498.4 million passengers travelled via Kyiv Metropoliten in 2017, which shows a 2.8% increase from the year before.
