World Bank President Jim Young Kim announced his resignation from the post on February 1, as he wrote on Twitter.

According to the official, it was a great honor for him to lead an institution where the employees devotedly pursue the goal of eradicating poverty.

The bank’s website says that after February 1, Jim Yong Kim will start working for a company that specializes in infrastructure projects investments in developing countries. The name of this company is not specified. Besides, Jim Yong Kim intends to re-join the board of the "Partners in Health" international non-governmental organization.
