At that, in January 2020, the prices grew by 0.2 percent, and in February, the deflation rate made 0.3 percent.
In general, the prices in Ukraine grew by 0.7 percent since early 2020.
According to the governmental agency, the basic inflation rate in March this year made 1.3 percent - after staying below zero for three months in a row. Last March, the inflation rate made 1.2. In the yearly evaluation, it increased from 3 to 3.1 percent.
In March 2020, the consumer inflation in Ukraine made 2.3 percent, thus somewhat slowing down in comparison with 2.4 percent in February. The water supply showed the most condiserable increase in price, 26.2 percent. The water utility services became 21.6 percent more expensive, fruit went up in price by 14.4, education services by 13.5, alcohol and tobacco products by 12.1.
The most tangible drop of prices is observed in natural gas (39.2 percent), eggs (33.3), vegetables (14.9), hot water and heating (8.1), fuel and oils (7.7 percent).
