In October, the inflation rate in Ukraine has slowed down to 1,7%. However, since the beginning of the year (in October 2018, compared with October 2017), the inflation rate has increased from 8,9% to 9,5% following the results of September, as it was reported on the website of State Statistics Service.
The core inflation in October 2018 was 1,3% compared with September (1,9%). In ten months, it has reached 6,9%. In the annual measurement, the core inflation has also grown a bit, from 8,7% to 8,8%, following the results of September.
As it was reported, Ukraine’s National Bank set the target level of inflation at 5% since December 2019.
