In January 2020, the industrial production in Ukraine reduced by 5.1% (not corrected for calendar days effect) and by 4.7% (corrected) in comparison with January 2019 as the State Statistics Service reported.
In January 2020, the industrial production reduced by 8.4% (not corrected for calendar days effect) and increased by 1.2 % (corrected) in comparison with December 2019. Besides, in December 2019, the production reduced by 7.7 % (not corrected) and by 8.3 % (corrected) as compared to December 2018.
It is also noted that generally in 2019, the industrial production shortened by 1.1% in comparison with 2018. And in 2018, the production increased by 1.1% compared to 2017.
Earlier, Economy Minister Timofiy Mylovanov stated that IT and agricultural sectors remain to be the only successful ones of Ukraine’s economy.
