In November 2018, the industrial production in Ukraine fell by 0.9 percent (not adjusted to the effect of calendar days) and by 0.7 percent (adjusted) comparing to November 2017, reports the press office of the State Statistics Service.
Yet, in November 2018, the industrial output reduced by 2.1 percent (not adjusted to the effect of calendar days) and by 0.5 percent (adjusted), comparing to October 2018.
Comparing the January-November 2018 time range to the same period in 2017, the industrial production grew by 1.6 percent.
As we reported earlier, consumer prices increased by 1.4 percent in November 2018.
In November, prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 1.3 percent; those for clothes and shoes decreased by 0.6 percent, the prices on housing and utility services increased by 6.1 percent. The prices for health-related services increased by 0.9 percent, and those for education increased by 0.1 percent.
The consumer prices increased by 10 percent in November 2018, compared to November 2017.
The inflation rate in the period from January to November reached 8.9 percent.
