The industrial production of Ukraine, without including the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Sevastopil and Donbas, increased by 3.8% in June in comparison with the same month in 2016. The State Statics Service of Ukraine reported this.

The index of the industrial production in January-June 2017 is 99.6% in comparison with January-June 2016, including the mining industry and quarry development – 94%, refining industry – 103.6%, supply of electric power, gas, steam and conditioned air – 94.4%.

The decrease of the industrial production, which shortened in 6.1% towards April 2016, is the result of the sharp response of the Ukrainian industry to the block of the freights at the East of Ukraine that began in January 2017.

The emergency state on energy was implemented since February 17, 2017, due to the trade blockade of Donbas.
