Ukraine's real GDP in 2020 has dropped by four percent. Press office of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine reported that on March 22.
According to the Service's estimates, the nominal GDP in this country made some 150 billion dollars.
Last year's deflator change rate made 9.8 percent.
According to the government authority, in Q1 2020, the GDP drop rate compared to the GDP index in Q1 2019 made 1.2 percent; in second quarter, it speeded up to 11.2, and then slowed down to 3.5 percent in Q3. In the fourth quarter of 2020, it dropped to 0.5 percent.
By the estimates of Oleg Ustenko, economic counselor of President Volodymyr Zelensky, this year, the inflation rate in Ukraine will make approximately seven percent. The growth of prices will be caused by the situation on the world's markets.
