The International Monetary Fund has published a memorandum of cooperation with Ukraine. The document is available on the Fund's website.
Also the website contains a summary of the memorandum, in which the IMF says that the progress in the fight against corruption, the privatization of state-owned enterprises (SOEs) and the promotion of pension reform in Ukraine has been slower than envisaged.
The memorandum includes a letter to confirm the intentions of Ukraine to adhere to the IMF program of cooperation signed by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman, head of the NBU Valeria Gontareva and Finance Minister Alexander Danyliuk.
As reported, the IMF allocated the third tranche of $ 1 billion to Ukraine. The decision was made on September 14. This decision to provide the tranche of financial assistance for Ukraine was adopted together with the exceptions to the general rules, given the current economic situation in the country.
