The mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will complete the work in Ukraine before the end of this week and will publish its conclusions. This was stated by Deputy Head of the NBU Oleg Churiy, Ukrainian News reports.
"In the near future the IMF will publish a statement on the results of the mission’s activity", he said.
According to Churiy, currently the risk of not receiving the next tranche is much higher than previously. Probably, Ukraine will not receive the fourth tranche of the IMF, he said.
Notably, this view is the opposite of the expectations of the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman. As reported, it is set positively and considers that Ukraine has a chance to get the next tranche of the IMF before the end of this year.
Note, during a meeting with representatives of the IMF, the mission emphasized the progress in the economy, which occurred in Ukraine during one and a half years.
