IMF mission finishes work in Ukraine

IMF and other international partners will cooperate closely with Ukrainian Government in the next week to guarantee the progress of the implementation of the reforms

The mission of the International Monetary Fund finished the work in Ukraine. It expects the support of the pension, land, privatization and anti-corruption reforms by Verkhovna Rada to provide Ukraine with the 5-th tranche within the EFF program. The press service of the mission reports this.

IMF mission led by Ron van Rooden held the fruitful discussions with the representatives of the Ukrainian Government on May 16-26. The discussed the pension and land reforms, recovery of the privatization and guarantee of the certain results of the anti-corruption efforts. Also, they dwelled upon the necessity of finalization of some bills for enactment by Parliament.   

The representatives of the mission and other international partners will cooperate closely with Ukrainian Government in the next week to guarantee the progress of the implementation of the reforms.
