The Board of Directors of the key creditor of Ukraine - the International Monetary Fund - does not plan next week to consider the allocation of the fourth tranche for Kyiv in the amount of 1 billion USD within EFF (Extended Fund Facility) program. This is evidenced by a timetable published on the IMF website.

According to the schedule, the next meeting of the Board of Directors will be held on 6 March, and only one question would be reviewed during it - the approaches to macro-supervision.

Let us remind, opened in March 2015, four-year EFF program totaling about 17.11 billion USD, with the first tranche of 5 billion USD presupposed quarterly review of the program, the allocation of another three tranches of 1.63 billion USD in 2015 and a reduction of quarterly tranches in the 2016-2018 biennium to 0.61 billion USD.

On February 13, 2017 IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde said that the IMF talks with Ukraine on the allocation of the next tranche within the program are proceeding well.
