The negotiations between International Monetary Fund (IMF) and Ukraine on allocation of another tranche in terms of credit program are going well. This was reported by Christine Lagarde, the Managing Director (MD) of the International Monetary Fund, in an interview to Reuters.
"I am sure that the negotiations are going in the right direction and a number of important issues were already settled," Lagarde informed.
At the same time, she avoided estimating the duration of negotiations.
"Our team just has to set some things right with Ukrainian authorities," she said, but refused to go into detail.
As it was reported earlier by Oleksandr Danylyuk, Ukrainian Finance Minister, Ukraine and the International Monetary Fund were almost done with the negotiations on the next loan from the Fund.
