The IMF released a fresh macroeconomic forecast; in it, the Fund reported that the growth of Ukraine's GDP is expected at the rate of three percent. The same rate of growth is also expected in 2020. The report may be found on the IMF website.
According to it, in 2020, the inflation rate in Ukraine is expected to reduce by 2.8 percent (from the current rate of 8.7 to 5.9). The unemployment rate this year is expected to make 8.7 percent; the next year's index should make 8.2 percent, as the IMF forecasts.
The Fund expects that in 2020, the growth of the world's economy will hold at the rate of 3.4 percent; that's 0.1 percent lower than the IMF forecast in July 2019.
