“The NBU informed, that from May 11 to August 7 inclusive Hontareva was on paid leave, having used the paid leave days she had left since 2014,” the message informs.
From August 8 to September 26 Hontareva continues to be on vacation.
This period includes 15 unpaid leave days (provided for in Article 26 of Ukrainian law “On leave”), and 20 days, she hasn’t used while being the NBU Head, for working on weekends and on business trips.
“Head of the NBU Valeriya Hontareva isn’t going to resume working at the NBU,” the Bank emphasized.
As it was reported earlier, on April 6, Hontareva announced her resignation. Yakov Soliy has been performing her duites since May 10.
