Prospects in the sphere of investment cooperation were discussed by Ukraine’s Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman and the newly appointed chairman of the U.S. government financial institution, OPIC (Private Foreign Investments Corporation) Ray Washburne. This was announced by the head of government on his Facebook page.

"OPIC is interested in the implementation of several projects in Ukraine, - the development of small and medium businesses, cooperation with the state energy holding Energoatom, the development of wind power in the southern regions, in particular in Zaporizhia and modernization of the rolling stock of Ukrzaliznytsia. These projects are on the final stage of the negotiations, "Groysman wrote.

According to the prime minister, the amount of financing for projects with Energoatom is at least 250 million dollars, and for wind energy projects it’s about 400 million dollars.
