Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman intends to hold a meeting with the mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), which is currently working in Ukraine. He said this while interacting with reporters at the National Children's Specialized Hospital Okhmatdyt, informs Interfax-Ukraine.
"I will be meeting with representatives of the mission. I met with them at the beginning of their work. The work with each ministry is under way, discussion of the real situation, summing up. I am absolutely optimistic", he said.
Groysman said that a positive decision of the IMF on the allocation of a new tranche for Ukraine depends on the performance of the plan of cooperation with the Fund.
The mission of the International Monetary Fund arrived in Ukraine and began to work on November 3.
As reported, the IMF allocated the third tranche of $ 1 billion to Ukraine. The decision was made on September 14. This decision to provide the tranche of financial assistance for Ukraine was adopted together with the exceptions to the general rules, given the current economic situation in the country.
