Ukraine’s Government decided to allocate $3,8 thousand for every family of the political prisoners kept in the Russian prisons and on the occupied territories within the support policy for the Ukrainians on the occupied territories, as Ukraine’s Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said at the Government’s session, 112.ua reports.
“The Russian aggression is underway. The Ukrainian land is enslaved today. People are occupied. We should remember about everyone who is suffering from the restrictions of rights. We decide on the support of the families of the political prisoners and we will allocate $3,8 per each,” he said.
Reportedly, Ukraine will file a comprehensive lawsuit to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) in the coming weeks concerning the Ukrainian political prisoners illegally kept in Russian Federation.
It should be noted that it is the 6th lawsuit which Ukraine files against Russia. Two of them concern Crimea’s annexation and the violation of the human rights on the peninsula, two more – the violations in Donbas. Another lawsuit concerns the transport of a group of children to Russia from Donbas.
