The officers of the General Prosecutor’s Office conducts searches in the building of the State Enterprise NPC Ukrenergo. Mykhailo Bno-Airiian, Director of Communications and International Cooperation of the SE NPC Ukrenergo, reported that on his Facebook page.
According to Bno-Airiian, the UkrEnero employees are not let to their working places.
“The strategic state enterprise is paralyzed by the “all-seeing eye” of the General Prosecutor’s Office,” he added in his post.
Later Larysa Sargan, the press officer of the General Prosecutor’s Office, reported that there are about 50 simultaneous searches in the building of the National Energy Company UkrEnergo in Kyiv, as well as in their regional enterprises.
"There are about 50 searches being conducted simultaneously not only in UkrEnergo, but also in the regions of Ukraine,” Sargan said.
The General Prosecutor’s Office added that further details on the criminal case connected to the searches will be made public at the end of the searches.
As it was reported earlier, law enforcers have confiscated documents, confirming financial and operational activities of the enterprises involved into the public purchase, printing, computer equipment, flash drives and the sum of money in the amount of $37 800 and 300 000 Ukrainian hryvnias back in 2015.
