“At the monthly auction in October 2021, the capacity of the entry points Sudzha and Sokhranovka from the Russian Federation was not booked, which is confirmed by the results of the auction on September 20,” the GTS Operator of Ukraine stated.
According to the publication, at the auction, GTS Operator of Ukraine offered capacity to enter the GTS from Russia in October with a volume of up to 9.8 million cubic meters per day. The blue fuel will flow across Sudzha gas measuring station.
The company also offered up to 5.2 million cubic meters per day through the Sokhranщvka station, but after the end of the auction, additional capacity at both points remained unclaimed.
“The capacity of these points booked on an annual basis is 109.6 million cubic meters per day (or 40 billion cubic meters per year),” the GTS Operator of Ukraine said.
As it was reported earlier, on September 10, Gazprom announced that Nord Stream 2 pipeline has been completed.
On September 15, the price of gas in Europe broke the record, reaching $950 per a thousand cubic meters for the first time in history.
On September 17, MEPs accused Gazprom of market manipulation and blackmail in order to obtain consent to operate Nord Stream-2. They demand that the European Commission urgently investigate Gazprom's manipulation and blackmail.
