Gas supply companies of Ukraine have raised monthly gas tariffs for the population to more than UAH 30 ($1,13) per 1 cubic meter. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the websites of gas companies.
The purchase of gas from Kyivgazenergy will cost 30.50 hryvnia ($ 1,15 ) per cubic meter per month. In September, it was UAH 19.80 ($ 0,74 ), and in August - UAH 15.76 ($0,59 )per cubic meter.
TAS Energy Country now sells blue fuel at 30.06 hryvnia ($1,13) price per 1 cubic meter, while back in September it was 20.96 hryvnia ($ 0,79) per cubic meter.
However, most suppliers have abandoned monthly tariffs, leaving only annual ones.
In particular, this applies to companies under the brand name Tvoy Gazsbyt and Naftogaz - Ukraine.
Most of the companies set prices up to 9 hryvnia ($0,34) per cubic meter according to the annual tariff plan. Meanwhile, the base annual fixed prices, as before, will fluctuate from 7.80($ 0,29) to 13.50 ($ 0,51) hryvnia per cubic meter.
Meanwhile, at the opening of gas market on October 1, the gas price in Europe reached 100 euros per megawatt/h, or 1,197 U.S. dollars per 1,000 cubic meters.
According to the ICE stock exchange, the average contract-defined price at the TTF hub in the Netherlands in September made 759 dollars per 1,000 cubic meters.
The previous record was set on September 30; the gas price on that day made 1,100 dollars per 1,000 cubic meters.
