Foreign currency shows minor increase in price

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) set the new exchange rate of the U.S. dollar on Friday, April 10. It will make 27.25 Ukrainian hryvnias per 1 USD. This is mentioned on the official website of the NBU.

Thus, dollar, Euro and Russian ruble have shown an insignificant increase in price comparing with the previous working day. As of April 10, the rate of 1 Euro will make 29.63 UAH. 10 Rubles cost 0.368 UAH.

Ukraine has agreed with the IMF to increase program-based funding s to $ 8 billion. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated this during a briefing, which was broadcasted on 112 Ukraine TV channel.

“Now we can get a minimum increase in the program up to $ 8 billion - if we continue to receive a minimum of $ 10 billion together with the World Bank and the EBRD. We’re talking further and we are definitely supported by Azerbaijan, I don’t want to distribute this information yet. I also agreed with Mr. Aliyev, thankful to him. We also talked and are waiting for an answer from the Prime Minister of Canada Trudeau," Zelensky said.
