Authorities of Kharkiv region is considering the question of providing financial help to the victims of the blasts at ammunition storage facility in Balakliya. This was announced by the head of Kharkiv city administration Yuliya Svetlychna, reports the press service of the administration.

“The residents of Balakliya and nearby villages that suffered from explosions at the ammunition storage will temporarily be provided lodging in educational and social facilities on the territory of the region. I instructed emergency operations center to prepare to accept people. The question of providing them financial aid is being considered now. We can talk about restoration works after the fire is localized,” she noted.

The movement of passenger transport along the Balakliya railway station is stopped and operated according to the fallback circuit. The flights were forbidden within 40 meters from the burning warehouses in Kharkiv region. People are being evacuated from the dangerous zone.
