The European Parliament will put to the vote the report concerning the provision of the trade preferences to Ukraine. The information about this is stated at the order of the day of the European Parliament plenary meeting.

It is expected that the lawmakers will agree with the compromise that occurred within the inter-institutional negotiations of the EU Council, European Parliament and European Commission as UNIAN reported.

Also, the amendment is registered in the Parliament that provides to deflect the offer of the European Commission. The EU Council should approve the decision that will be made tomorrow.

'According to the agreement, the quotas on tomatoes, corn and honey will be increased but not in the expected volume. The urea is excluded from the list. There are such year quotas: 2, 500 tons for honey, 3 000 tons for tomatoes, 65 000 for wheat, 625 000 for corn and 325 000 tons for barley', the agency specified.

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine passed the bill for request to the European Parliament concerning the additional trade preferences from EU for Ukrainian goods.
