The European Union is ready to allocate the next tranche of the Fourth program of the macro-financial aid in the sum of 500 million of euro to Ukraine after fulfillment of necessary conditions as Interfax-Ukraine reported after declaration on results of Ukraine-EU summit.
“The EU is ready to provide the second tranche (500 million of euro, - 112.international) of the Fourth program of the macro-financial aid as soon as the proper conditions will be fulfilled,” the declaration said.
Earlier Volodymyr Zelensky thanked the European partners for the readiness to provide to Ukraine the second tranche of the Fourth program of the macro-financial aid in the sum of 500 million of euro.
In the mid of November 2018, Poroshenko signed the law on the ratification of the memorandum on understanding between Ukraine and EU and credit agreement on the macro-financial aid of 1 billon of euro. The memorandum was signed in September.
Tranches of the macro-financial aid within these agreements were allocated equally, 500 million of euro for each.
The first tranche was provided to Ukraine in autumn 2018 after finish of the inner procedures necessary for documents to come into force and fulfillment of the conditions for the provision of the first tranche by Ukraine.
The second tranche had to be allocated in spring 2019 on the results of the estimation of the fulfillment of the events on the reforming of the proper sectors of the implementation of the state policy by Ukraine.
