EU may provide Ukraine second tranche of microfinancial aid in this year, - Finance Ministry Head

Minister of Finance of Ukraine Oksana Markarova and Executive Vice President of the Eurocomission on economic issues Valdis Dombrovskis came to an agreement relating to the second tranche of the microfinancial aid. According to Markarova's post in Facebook, Ukraine may get this tranche until the end of the year.

"We made a deal with Valdis Dombrovskis about the action plan relating to the second tranche of the microfinancial aid where all the conditions are already fulfilled, except one and where there is still a chance to get it until the end of the year.We also discussed funding issues for the next 2020 year," she wrote. 

Earlier, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) was going to send a mission to Ukraine in a few weeks for reforms discussion. 

"The discussion goes well with the government and we are planning to send the mission to Ukraine in a couple of weeks to continue talking about details of the reforms," Director of the IMF Department Poul Thomsen stated.
