Interbank currency market in Ukraine has closed for today, June 9. On this particular day, the price of U.S. dollar in Ukraine made 26.64-26.66 UAH per 1 dollar. Minfin financial portal reported that on Tuesday.
Thus, the dollar's price in Ukraine increased compared with that on the previous work day - by 0.05-0.06 UAH.
The Euro price made 30.24-30.26 UAH per 1 Euro; thus, it also grew up in price by 0.20-0.21 UAH.
Russian ruble, on the contrary, dropped in price; it made 0.38 UAH.
Earlier, a new coin appeared in the turnover in Ukraine. Its value is ten Ukrainian hryvnyas.
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the coin is supposed to replace the banknotes of the same value.
The coin's diameter makes 23.5 mm, the weight 6.4 grams. The head side will feature the image of Cossack warlord Ivan Mazepa. The tail side is to display the value of the coin, with the number adorned by the ornament.
In February, the Bank also presented a new banknote by the value of 200 hryvnyas.
As we reported, the expectations of the International Monetary Fund from the Ukrainian government needed to get the new $5 billion credit program were revealed. It should be approved on June 5.
