Crimean prosecutor’s office suits Russian airline for $370 thousand

The prosecutor’s office of Autonomous Republic of Crimea filled the lawsuit against Russian airline for over 370 thousand dollars for air navigation services in the international airspace above the Black Sea within the Simferopol region of flight information. This was reported by the press office of the Prosecutor's Office of Crimea.

The Russian airline, in violation of the requirements of the Convention on International Civil Aviation of 1944, the Multilateral Agreement on Payment of Route Duties of 1981 and the Air Code of Ukraine, did not pay for the air navigation services received in the international airspace over the Black Sea within the Simferopol region of flight information.

“Ensuring protection of the state interests in the courts, the prosecutor's office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea has filed a lawsuit against the debtor company, which carries out daily flights to the temporarily occupied territory, to recover 354,4 thousand euros, which is more than 10 million UAH," the statement says.

Earlier it was reported that Ukraine will suit Russian airline for flights to Crimea, according to Lutsenko. Case value is 18,5 thousand dollars.
