The economic court of Lviv region has decided to order the state-owned enterprise “Lviv state plant Lorta” over $180,000 for untimely completion of the work. The press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office has informed about this, 112.ua reports.
In particular, over $180,000 in fines and penalties will be withdrawn as the result of a violation of the state agreement dated 2014 in regards to the timely completion of the research-construction works.
Also, reacting to the apparent violations and the lawsuit filed by the military prosecutor’s office, the defense enterprise has voluntarily returned the $90,000 pre-payment to the ministry’s accounts.
The “Lorta” Lviv state plant (The Lviv union of radiotechnical apparatus) is a producer of radiotechnical equipment founded in Lviv in 1944. During the plant’s high times, the enterprise was employing some 17,000 workers. The plant is part of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex.
