Interior Minister of Ukraine Arsen Avakov stated about the intention of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) to reduce the number of the classified positions in the state defense order in the next fiscal year as Ukrinform reported.
“It was already told about the necessity to remove the “confidential” stamp from the majority of the positions of the state defense order as very often the schemes are hidden behind them,” Avakov said.
According to him, the NSDC held the session recently and decided to reduce the number of classified positions in the state defense order in the next fiscal year.
Interior Minister added that such a step will provide the possibility of the holding of the competitive purchases.
Earlier National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Oleksandr Danylyuk announced the creation of the coordination center on the implementation of the reforms of the defense and industrial complex as NSDC working body.
