The mission from China on the assessment of the state control over the production of the sweet cherry has begun its work in Ukraine as the press service of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection reported.
"It is expected that the analysis of the phytosanitary risks during the export of the Ukrainian sweet cherry to China will be held during the work of the Chinese mission in Ukraine. As well as the project of the protocol of the phytosanitary requirements for the export of this product to the Chinese market will be worked out."
Moreover, the representatives of the mission will visit Zaporizhia, Kherson and Dnipropetrovsk regions to get familiarize with the peculiarities of the cultivation, storage, packaging of the sweet cherry and phytosanitary procedures provided by the local department of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety during the control within the forming of the export consignments of the sweet cherry.
As we reported Ukraine became the largest exporter of eggs in the EU with a share of 38%, surpassing the US. It is noted that Ukrainian holding company for egg production plans to produce 2 billion eggs a year.
