Last in 2017 ships with energy coal moored in Pivdennyi port in Ukraine. This is reported by the press service of the enterprise.
It is indicated that the OCEANUS ship delivered 60.4 thousand tons of coal for the DTEK holding, and WOOLLOOMOOLLOO -73.4 thousand tons for PJSC Centrenergo.
In addition, it is reported that in 2017, the volume of transshipment of imported thermal coal in the port amounted to more than 11% of the total freight turnover of the enterprise.
"In 2017, the volume of transshipment of imported thermal coal amounted to more than 11% of the total freight turnover of the enterprise. From May to December, 18 Panamax vessels arrived. This is the largest figure in Ukraine," said the acting director of the port Vitaly Zhukovsky.
The first vessel from the United States was moored to the transshipment complex of the port on September 13. After that, several more bulk carriers delivered coal to Ukraine.
