Antonov to build eight planes per year

Antonov State Company is intended to cooperate with Aviall, the subsidiary of Boeing and to finally solve the question of the dependence on Russia. Reuters report with the reference to the data of Oleksandr Donets, Head of Antonov.State Company.

Antonov is planning to resume the serial production by the end of the next year owing to the deal with Boeing, in particular, cooperation with Aviall. They are intended to build eight planes a year and to build the first two-three planes by the end of 2018. Although, they note that Oleksandr Donets hadn’t said anything about the future clients.

Along with this, he announced the development of the common hangar.

The deal with Aviall gave us two advantages. We are developing a common hangar situated on the territory of Ukraine in Hostomel city. The hangar will deal with goods, supplies, metal, and nonmetal, with all components, which we can’t get from our former partner the Russian Federation,’ Donets claimed.

According to him, the hangar may cost Aviall dozens of millions USD.

It is expected that Aviall will support the manufacturing program for building AH planes and will exclusive right for planes’ maintenance.

Reportedly, Antonov stated on the agreement concluded with Aviall, they did not specify the details though.
