A single taxpayer declared over 1 billion of Ukrainian hryvnas of incomes in 2018; over 4.8 thousand millionaires were recorded last year all over the country. The State Fiscal Service reported that on Monday. 

The youngest millionaire is seven years old; the oldest one is 99.

'Most of the millionaires who filed their declarations are registered in Kyiv. That number makes 2,184 thousand people or 45 percent of the entire number of millionaires', the Service reported.

The other leaders in terms of the largest number of millionaires residing are Kyiv region, Kharkiv region and Dnipropetrovsk region

Currently, the anti-corruption bodies investigate dozens of cases of illicit enrichment of Ukrainian officials, including MPs and a deputy head of the SBU, state security service.
