439 illegal petrol stations were closed during the last three weeks in Ukraine as Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk reported on Facebook.

The law enforcers checked 787 petrol stations. Moreover, they arrested 275,4 tons of fuel.

“Besides, the leadership of all regional state administrations involved in the work. I ordered to liquidate the issue until January 9. We should overcome the shadow market for the further growth of the economy of the country as soon as possible,” the message said.

Earlier the prices for gasoline A-92 and A-95 and diesel fuel decreased for $0,022- 0,043. It happened after the meeting of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky with the representatives of the filling stations.

As we reported, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky during a meeting with representatives of participating companies in the fuel market, oil and gas industry and gas station networks discussed the issue of lowering fuel prices at Ukrainian gas stations and detailing the market.
