As of September 1, the sum in the Ukraine’s treasury constitutes $2.37 billion, which is the highest amount in the history of independent Ukraine, as the website of the State Treasury Service of Ukraine informs.

It is noted, that the remaining funds grew by $662 million, which is 38.8%, in August, thus exceeding the previous record of 2015.

Moreover, the remaining funds in correspondent and transit bank accounts. They grew by 1% or $18 million in August, and now constitute $1.75 million.

Previously the president of Ukraine said that $1.5 billion, confiscated from ex-president Viktor Yanukovych, were sent to the Treasury.
