$1.7 million allocated for security of international delegations during visits to Donbas

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine allocated additional $1.7 million to the State Security Administration for provision of the security of officials, heads of foreign states and international organization, who visit the east of Ukraine as Interfax-Ukraine reported.

The implementation of the decision is aimed for the provision of the fulfillment of the operative and combat tasks of the advance teams of the State Security Administration. They are sent to the zone of the Joint Forces Operation for prevention of the criminal attempts at the officials, heads of foreign states and international organization, who come with visits to the east of Ukraine.

“The additional financing is tied with the increase of the number of unplanned visits of the heads of the foreign states and international organizations to the boundary line and zone of the Joint Forces Operation,” the message said.

It is known that the funds were allocated from the reserve fund of the state budget.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky went to Donetsk region with a working visit. Besides, he presented Head of Donetsk Regional Military-Civilian Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko.
