Former head of the International Monetary Fund Dominic Strauss-Kahn called Ukraine ‘an interesting place for foreign investments' (nv.ua). In his interview, the ex-official said that Western investors are always concerned about what happens to their money when they reach Ukraine.
‘They want to be sure that the money they invest in Ukraine will be used as they are supposed to. They want to be sure the money will not get lost somewhere else. They want to see to it that the investments are effectively used and that they bring profit. If Ukraine can positively answer all these questions, investors will come to this country’, Strauss-Kahn said.
