Political party "Right sector" does not intend to interfere with the Equality festival in Kyiv, scheduled for December 8-11. This  was reported to "Ukrainian News" by the spokesman of the "Right sector" Artem Skoropadsky.

"We do not intend to oppose, because it's a completely closed event. We oppose the marches, parades, demonstrations, and against the lectures and films in public cinemas,” he said.

Skoropadsky said if LGBT community tries to hold a march after the closed events, the "Right Sector" will discourage it.

However, the program of the festival includes screenings. The event will take place in the art space Plivka and will be devoted to the International Day of Human Rights. As reported on the website of the festival, the theme is the equality of all people regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity, place of residence and other features.
