Volunteer Roman Donyk claimed on Facebook that it happened on October 30, three weeks after the active phase of the operation. Earlier, Zolote was situated in the grey zone, as well as Katerynivka village.
‘About 300 locals, 40 of whom are school-aged children have been suffering from the absence of social, medical support and authorities, from everyday searches, inspection at the checkpoints and absolute absence of confidence in the future. The village was situated directly at the line of contact. The 'Self-Defense' consisting of the reserve of Joint Forces operation's Commander remained in the village and strengthened the position. The village is taken under full control,’ the volunteer said.
Dmytro Tymchuk, the MP confirms the fact of taking the village under control.
Reportedly, the Armed Forces of Ukraine moved forward through Pivdenne village which is situated nearby the occupied Horlivka in Donetsk region.
