Zelensky offers Putin to "meet anywhere in Donbas" where there's war

The Ukrainian leader reiterated that the Normandy Four counselors discussed an opportunity to meet on the contact line in Donbas

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky offered his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin to meet in any location of Donbas where there's war going on. He said so in his video address.

"Mr. Putin! I'm ready to go even further and offer you to meet in any location of Ukrainian Donbas, where there's war going on", he said.

President of Ukraine added that during the session on April 19, the Normandy Four counselors discussed an opportunity to meet on the contact line in Donbas.

The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine has been looking into various scenarios of response to the build-up of Russian forces to the borders of Ukraine. Oleksiy Danilov, the Council's Secretary said so as quoted by the authority's press office

"We monitor the situation around the clock and develop different scenarios of reaction", Danilov said.

He added that "the Ukrainian army in 2014 and that in 2021 are very different kinds of military", and "our military are ready to repel the aggressor country".
