The representative of the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic stated that the military court sentenced Donetsk resident to ten years of imprisonment for the espionage on behalf of Ukraine’s special services. Donetsk news agency, the informative resource of the militants, published this information.

“Donetsk resident was sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment for the espionage. She was found guilty in committing a crime under the article of Donetsk People’s Republic Criminal Code by the sentence of the military court as “Donetsk People’s Republic Supreme Court Chamber,” the message says.

According to the information, the woman was allegedly gathering and transmitting data concerning her “service” in the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic.

“The woman, when carrying out the foreign intelligence assignment from February to October of 2016, was transmitting data to SBU about the officers of the State Property Fund and other information on the Fund’s activity through the Internet,” the message says.
