Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Oleksiy Danilov stated it was simply impossible to fulfill the Minsk Agreements in their current state as he stated during Pravo na Vladu TV show.

“If we talk about the situation toward Minsk Agreements, I can say that, really, in the current state, they are absolutely absurd,” Danilov said.

According to him, it is necessary to work with Minsk Agreements as there are no other agreements. The NSDC head noted that it is necessary to understand that it is impossible to fulfill the agreements in their current state.

During a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Geneva, United States President Joe Biden stated his full support for Ukraine's territorial integrity and his commitment to the Minsk agreements.

Russian President Vladimir Putin was the first to hold the press conference. He stated that both he and Joe Biden support the implementation of the Minsk agreements to resolve the conflict in Donbas. 

Besides, Russia hopes that the U.S.’s influence on Ukraine on the necessity of the fulfillment of Minsk Agreements can help to make progress. Putin and Biden discussed this issue pointedly and agreed that the political part of the Minsk Agreements is the key condition for the settlement of the conflict.
