Ukrainian volunteer died because of received shrapnel injury in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) zone. This was reported by ATO HQ on Facebook page.

"Ukrainian volunteer died around 4:30 p.m. from shrapnel wound near Krymske locality on February 17. He was the representative of one of Ukrainian charitable foundations," the message reads.

At the same time, it is noted that fighters knew him as a true patriot, devoted to the idea of Ukrainian independence.

The name of the victim is not provided.
