The Verkhovna Rada observed a minute of silence honoring Ukrainian servicemen who died in Eastern Ukraine.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ruslan Khomchak told the parliament the details of the deaths of four soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the village of Shumy on Friday.
They were a group of sappers who tried to demine the area in front of the positions of Ukrainian forces, according to Khomchak. They were killed by snipers.
The enemy stopped shelling after the fire in response started.
On March 26, four Ukrainian servicemen were killed in militant shelling in Donbas. Two more were injured.
At the same time, the JFO headquarters noted that the militants fired at the positions of Ukrainian defenders with 82-mm mortars, automatic grenade launchers and large-caliber machine guns prohibited by the Minsk agreements. The wounded soldiers were hospitalized. There is no information about their health at the moment.
As it was reported earlier, two attacks took place in Donbas combat area since the beginning of March 29.
